The Little Family App

New Wine All Year Round Kid's App

Enjoy exploring the bible, prayer and conversation about faith

Expanding from last year’s content and the regular interaction that we have seen with the kids and their children’s leaders using the New Wine Family AR app we are pleased to mention that we have agreed to work with New Wine on creating further content allowing 5-11 years olds, children’s leaders, churches and families to explore games, Bible stories and much much more together at home and in your churches. For those who don’t have Augmented Reality compatible phones, there are non-AR games to enjoy too.

Upcoming new content that you can access from September 2022:

5-11s can experience the latest 6 day Bible experience focusing on David life in the Old Testament, with customised games and animation to help explore the story of David from Kid to King through games and animations. In addition to this, kids and children’s leaders can access previous year’s content items made for each New Wine summer camp United Kids.

At the beginning of September we will be updating the app to transition from just being a summer focused app to all year round content. The plans are in place to create weekly Bible focused teaching videos by those involved in children’s ministry and interactive activities that help children’s leaders and parents encourage a rhythm of conversation and prayer with kids about personal and global worries whilst offering additional bonus content leading up to seasonal times of the year resources.

We are so excited to mention that this all year app will see 5-11 years olds have so much fun with new annual games and animated teaching from the much loved Little Family.

The content we are creating will also be relevant for churches and children’s leaders to consider how the summer themes, such as Moses and David, can become a great summer resource for holiday clubs, Sunday schools and used in school lessons when and where they fit into the school curriculum.

Summer theme and content for 2022:

We’re looking at David, from Kid to King, with interactive 2 games and 2 animated videos each day for 6 days. Kids will get the chance to explore and learn about the life of David and how God called as we explore the themes below.  We have created animations of the Little Family who will explore the daily themes and provide space for kids to encounter the Holy Spirit.

  • Day 1 David was God’s anointed one (Chosen and anointed) – 1 Samuel 16:1-13
  • Day 2 David was a giant slayer (Confidence in God’s protection) – 1 Samuel 17 1-58
  • Day 3 David was a great warrior (Leadership Responsibility / God’s Power) – 1 Samuel 18: 5-15
  • Day 4 David committed adultery with Bathsheba and committed a crime (Temptation) – 2 Samuel 11 1-27
  • Day 5 David was a man after God’s own heart (reconciliation)1 Samuel 13: 8 – 23
  • Day 6 David was Israel’s greatest king (Kingship) – 2 Samuel 5: 1-5

We have been encouraged to hear that last year’s content has been used by parents and leaders and we hope that the new content for the summer and all year round will encourage localised conversations of faith as well as making space to encounter the Holy Spirit and learn the plans that God has for the emerging generation
