On the evening we heard a great testimony from a young person called Anjola. She spoke about how the Mission Academy we ran in 2014 helped her to start to see what it truly meant to live as a person of faith and belief in God within the arenas of life she is part of. She felt the time she spent accessing the missional resources changed the way she was living and will keep the information she learnt close to her heart when she moves to university.
Stories like Anjola’s are the reason why Missional Generation is looking to help support young people and their youth leaders to see a generation learning to create a rhythm of missional living as they access all that we offer. Our hope is to help equip young people to become influential for God. We are proud to say that we believe already this vision is becoming a reality, as young people are inspired to share the Kingdom of God in all they do, places they access and within the relationships they have.
We have also put together a short slide show of the evening for you to enjoy and feel part of the launch.
All of the preparation and hard work that many people gave has made the launch evening a great success, and was very much appreciated. On the night we celebrated, laughed lots and made new connections over some really nice, locally roasted coffee sponsored by our friends from Cielo. We ate some really nice cakes; home made by friends. On reflection it was a great time and the Board of Trustees are really thankful to all that attended.
Members of the Board of Trustees were introduced as, thanks to their solid investment and support, they have helped the founder of the charity Ben Jones turn an idea into a reality.
“It was amazing to see so many people interested and involved, supporting us and wishing us well, all in the same place at the same time. On the night we shared that our new website was up and running, so Missional Generation really was now out there in the wide world. It’s exciting to anticipate what God might do with us, for us, and through us in the next few months.”
Reflection quote from Susan Trustee Of MG
“The vision and hope will always be to create effective missional resources and offer support towards churches and youth leaders to help equip young people to learn to live Missional shaped lives.”
Reflection Ben Jones Founder Of Missional Generation
Please enjoy hearing the interview of the founder from the launch night as another way to see how Missional Generation might be able to help inspire your work. You will hear the legacy Ben hopes to see become a reality for all that come into contact with the charity
We’d like you to consider how Missional Generation might be able to help the church and young people you know to grow in their understanding of Missional living by contacting a member of the team so we can see how we can best help invest into what you currently do.
